Kelly Suell

PointCookDance teachers are qualified dance professionals with a real love of dance. Their combined energies and creativity are what makes PointCookDance a great place to learn dancing. The teaching team supports a positive attitude towards learning; has an approachable, friendly manner; and stays relevant by attending regular classes, workshops and in-service seminars. This ensures their expertise in both traditional techniques and up to the minute trends.

Kelly Suell

Senior Dance Teacher

Kelly first started dancing at the age of 4. She spent her early years as an aspiring student at Barbara Lynch Dance Studios, attending numerous competitions yearly across Victoria in all styles of dance.

Kelly was rewarded with a scholarship to the Victorian College of Arts where she continued her training. Kelly had a real love for Classical Ballet and decided to take the next steps to pursuing her dreams. She was awarded with a spot at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet studying under Christine Walsh. Her training involved Classical Ballet, Pa De Deux, Jazz, Character, Contemporary, Pilates & Dance Anatomy. She attended McDonalds Sydney Eisteddfod and was rewarded with 2nd place in Australia.

After Kelly completed her Cert 2 in Dance she continued further training from Year 12 and completed two years at Jason Colemans Ministry of Dance where she trained in Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatics, Commercial Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Tap, Singing, Drama and Lyrical and received high distinctions. This led Kelly to industry jobs and dancing professionally, including at corporate events and independent shows across Melbourne.

Kelly has always had a passion for teaching and mentoring others. She strives for excellence and is dedicated to setting goals for her students and giving them every opportunity to shine. Kelly is patient and nurturing, which resonates through her students, creating a friendly and supportive environment throughout the dance school.
