POINTCOOKDANCE

Esther Gulley

PointCookDance teachers are qualified dance professionals with a real love of dance. Their combined energies and creativity are what makes PointCookDance a great place to learn dancing. The teaching team supports a positive attitude towards learning; has an approachable, friendly manner; and stays relevant by attending regular classes, workshops and in-service seminars. This ensures their expertise in both traditional techniques and up to the minute trends.

All PointCookDance teachers have a Current Working with Children Check.

Esther Gulley

Dance Teacher

Esther has been dancing for over 17 years. She grew up in Brisbane where she trained at the Brisbane Academy of Dance for more than 10 years. She completed her RAD Advanced 1 Ballet Exam and level 4 of the CSTD Jason Winters Contemporary Syllabus in 2021. Esther was also a member of the Australasian Dance Collective for 2 years (2020/2021) where she trained in contemporary dance under the leadership of Amy Hollingsworth and Riannon McLean.

In early 2022, Esther moved to Melbourne to start full-time training at Transit Dance as a Performing Arts student.  She graduated in 2023 with a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) and an abundance of knowledge that she is excited to share with the students at PointCookDance. In 2024, she is studying a graduate course at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance.

Teaching is something Esther is very passionate about and believes in fostering creativity, self-expression, and technical proficiency in
students of all ages. She loves to create new ways to move and am excited to encourage the students on this journey.

“I look forward to being a part of each student’s dance journey and I only hope that they fall in love with dance as much as I have.”
